I would highly recommend Dean and his team, they did a fantastic job of extending our kitchen, which allowed us to have much more of a family space/ kitchen dining area, which has transformed the downstairs of our house.

He was very professional, provided good value for money and was very trust worthy. He has also done work for my dad (fitting a new kitchen) and for my sister (a conservatory), and they were both really happy with his work too.

If you need building work done, I would definitely recommend Dean Hindmarsh Builders.

Thanks for the fantastic build you did for us a high quality job. Dean & Ian kept the place tidy as well I would definitely recommend their work

Would highly recommend Dean Hindmarsh builders. Dean and Ian, 2 very professional and friendly men did a fantastic job taking out our old fireplace and hearth, skimmed all the walls and put a new ceiling up. Also we had some bouncy floorboards and a problem with the bay window which were both fixed. All work was a high standard and they left the room tidy after each day.

Dean and Ian did a great job fitting new ceilings, removing coving and dado rails, and re-plastering the walls of our lounge and dining room. They are professional and friendly the work was done to a high standard. This is the second time we have used Dean and Ian this year and they will be our first port of call for any future building work we get done. We would highly recommend them.

Dean and Ian did a fantastic job of our extension this summer. Right from the first time I met Dean I felt his professionalism and knowledge stood above anyone else I had been in touch with. Due to the lockdown it meant there was a delay on the start of the job (no fault of Deans) however he remained in touch the whole time. He turned up when he said he would and from the minute they started the build they worked hard day in day out.
The work was also done to a very high standard, and the quality of the brickwork was the talk of the street. Also, the speed in which the build was carried out was faultless while still maintaining a high standard. A very hardworking, knowledgeable team with high standards of work and professionalism.

I would highly recommend Dean for any building work

We eventually narrowed our quotes and elected Dean Hindmarsh based upon a number of factors including recommendations, reviews, availability and cost. As with any building project we had trepidation’s and worried about whether we had made the right choice.

At 7AM on the start date Dean an Ian arrived and within an hour the digger, dumper and deliveries turned up. From that moment on-wards we knew we’d made the rights choice! Dean and Ian worked tirelessly throughout the day from 7-4 everyday and never left site to get parts, go to quotes, finish off other jobs etc. Both Dean and Ian have a fantastic work ethic and work very well together. Deliveries arrived just in time for the work required, and as such, Dean and Ian finished the job in half the time predicted. Building control had no issues and commented on the quality of workmanship also.

Dean completed the extension to exactly the price quoted, No hidden extras, No unforeseen issues. Exactly to cost and ahead of Timing.

Hindmarsh builders made our extension works such a pleasure. Nothing was too much trouble, their time keeping was excellent and the finished was good too.

Heartily recommend these guys for any work – I’ve continued to use them for all sorts of works since. Thanks guys!

Outstanding, friendly and professional builders are Dean and Ian. They did a fantastic job on our garage conversion into an office/gym. We are so pleased with the quality and standard of workmanship.
They arrived early and worked very hard everyday and everything ran smoothly and on time.

They came back to knock a wall down in the kitchen, board and plaster and make good a few weeks later too!

Have recommended to friends, neighbours and family!

Couldn’t recommend Dean and Ian highly enough. We had a fairly extensive extension and renovation to an old lean-to to transform our Kitchen to a large open plan kitchen diner with 4 metre bifold
Doors. Dean and Ian worked extremely hard, were very tidy, promptly removing rubble/building material and rubbish from site (we don’t have a drive). Dean was considerate with regards to our neighbours, our budget and having kids around (!), he was swift in communication, friendly, patient (first time renovators here!) and everything ran seamlessly with plumbers, electricians and building inspectors etc. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome, the workmanship and the look of our new space. We love it! Thanks Dean.

I can’t recommend Dean Hindmarsh builders enough!! From beginning to end, it was a fabulous service… Dean quoted us, talked through everything, offered some great tips and advice even before starting the work. His quote was clear and concise with no hidden costs. He was able to recommend great plumbers, electricians to get the job completed.

From the minute Dean and Ian arrived, they worked so so hard! They were here every day bright and early, worked tirelessly sometimes late and some weekends. They left everything so tidy and safe every single day which was so important with young kids. Working through Covid must be a challenge as we were working from home, but they worked around that and made it as easy as possible for us.

The work itself is amazing, we couldn’t be happier! We had a single story extension but also a remodel of rooms downstairs, the garden was finished off with a brand new patio and looks fab! Happy with everything! They were a pleasure to have here.

Dean & Ian took on our 2 storey kitchen/diner/bedroom extension earlier this year. Everything went well even allowing for a number of changes during the project, in particular the roof on the existing bathroom. These were discussed and agreed at a very reasonable cost. The organisation and planning involving including the Bulding Regulation approval was first class. The tidiness in particular where Ian took great pride building his structure to house the rubble/soil etc drew admiring glances, even a comment from one of the neighbours asking if the rockery was staying!! They both worked extremely hard and always on time, the standard of work was good , in fact I still miss the cups of tea and daily cake. We’ll done and many thanks.
